dream Player IPTV for Android TV / Fire TV
Prerequisites
To use this app, you need a list of IPTV channels in M3U format or access to an Xtream server. Please use legal sources to play streams from webcams, media libraries and stations. There are some sources who share lists like KodiNerds or iptv-org.
If you are using a phone or tablet, please use the app dream Player IPTV
Import settings
If you exported your configuration before on this device, you can choose 'Import settings'. After import, please continue the wizard.
Start installation
Click 'Next' to start the setup wizard.
Adding channels using a webbrowser (recommended)
Please enter at least a M3U URL (TS-Stream preferred). You can also add an EPG URL. It needs to provide a file in XMLTV format and can be either in .xml, .gz or .xz format. Please don't ask me for M3U URLS or EPG URLS, I don't provide any.
Adding channels manually
You can also enter an M3U URL or Xtream login data manually. Please note that this is error prone, make sure to avoid typos or spaces or better use the local webbrowser option.
Adding channels using a local file
If you have a local M3U file, you can import it using this option. Compared to an URL it has the downside that it cannot be automatically updated if channels are changing.
Adding videos from a windows network share (SMB)
You can also include video files (MP4/MKV/AVI) from a local windows network drive.
Using a SAT>IP server
If you own a SAT>IP server in your local network, you can also connect to this server and play channels.
Enter M3U / Xtream data using a webbrowser
Choose between "M3U URL" and "Xtream" at the top.
URL of the channel list: A complete URL to an M3U list.
Alternatively, you can upload an existing M3U file. However, it is then not possible to keep this list up to date.
Name of the list: Optional name of the list
Combine channels (format): If the list contains several channels with different resolutions, channels with a lower resolution are hidden. These can be shown again later via "Edit list". Example:
Das Erste HD (is hidden if summarise channels is activated and SD is selected)
Das Erste SD (is hidden if summarise channels is activated and Full HD is selected)
This only works if the channels have identical names and contain the resolution at the end (HEVC, 4K, FHD, HD, SD)
Keep list synchronised: If you activate this option, the list will be overwritten each time it is updated. The order and names are reset. This only makes sense if you mainly work with favourites lists. These remain unaffected.
EPG address: Enter the URL of an XMLTV file here
